Noah was born at 6:18 this morning. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces.
Becca went in to the hospital in the middle of the night, telling me bring Eva to school and then come in. An hour later, she called to let me know things were moving along fast and I needed to get there. This was about 5:30 in the morning. I dropped Eva off with our neighbors, pulled into the Maine Med parking lot about 6:05, and made it to the room for the last ten minutes or so of pushing. Becca is, in her own words, "not a fan" of natural childbirth. But there was no time for any pain management, so fan or not, that's how it happened.
