We spent a week's vacation in San Diego. It was so rainy in southern California that week that it made national headlines. Nonetheless, we got a couple of great beach days (we were staying in the Beach Cottages, right on the beach), went to the San Diego Zoo several times, and saw lots of friends from our time living in San Diego. Grandma Ellen was down for the last half of the week as well.
