Noah started crawling this month. Forward, that is; he had been able to go backwards for a while, but found that only frustrating. Being able to move towards something was a huge change, and immediately he set to exploring. He doesn't ramble all over, though; he chooses an activity, moves to it, and does it for a while before moving on.
Eva's friend Gus had a Pirate-themed birthday party. It was in a huge carpeted room, so Noah had fun crawling all over, chasing balloons, meeting other little siblings. The kids were all dressed up in matching costumes -- a shipfull of one-eyed pirates.
