On Family Fun Day, the wholesome-est day of the year here in Cape Elizabeth, we watched a parade and got our faces painted.
That evening, our neighbors took us on their boat to a nearby small island (Vail Island) where we cooked hot dogs and S'mores.
The following weekend, we went to Cape Cod. With the exception of Chris (Sam and Mia's dad), the entire extended family was there. Including the Guires in the count, we had seventeen people! (Four grandparents, six grandchildren, and seven in between.)
